Exhibition Statement
Loco Motion presents final works from Animation as Innovation, a course that explores animation as an experimental art practice and a form of visual thinking.
Rather than approaching animation only as storytelling or entertainment, students used movement, rhythm, texture, sound, repetition, and transformation to create works that invite interpretation and sustained looking.
The exhibition brings together a semester of inquiry into how images change when they unfold over time, how motion can create meaning, and how animation can become a space for discovery, attention, and artistic experimentation.
