Digital Readymade
September 17–25, 2026

Exhibition Statement
Digital Readymade begins with objects that already exist as downloadable 3D models. Each carries a history of use, a set of cultural associations, and expectations about what it is worth or what it is for. The artists approach these files as found material, choosing an existing form and asking what it might become. Through changes in scale, color, repetition, and display, a familiar object can acquire an unfamiliar presence. Printing gives the digital model a physical body, but the work’s meaning emerges through the decisions that surround it.
Across the exhibition, copying becomes a way to examine the meanings attached to everyday things. An object separated from its usual function may suggest a memory, a social role, or an absent person; grouped with other objects, it may begin to tell a different story. Materials, titles, and placement guide these encounters without settling them into a single interpretation. Digital Readymade asks viewers to look closely at the distance between recognizing a form and understanding what it is doing here, and to consider how an available file becomes an artwork through research, choice, and presentation.
