Fantastical Fright in Life

Fantastical Fright in Life is a Bachelor of Fine Arts thesis exhibition by Amy Nguyen. The exhibition presents an illustrated world shaped by fantasy, fear, humor, and the visual language of comics. Installed in the MIX Gallery, the project treated the comic book as both a narrative artwork and a printed object. The opening also served as a comic book release party, bringing the page, the projection, and the gallery event into the same space. Through drawing, character, and atmosphere, the work frames fear as something imaginative, theatrical, and alive.
